Scam Jam is a free seminar dedicated to educating and informing consumers to protect themselves from common scams. The target audience for this event consists of baby boomers and seniors. Typical attendance is 100-150 people. Scam Jam is supported by a coordinated marketing campaign including radio, print, and internet.
This event includes keynote speakers from local Attorney General's offices, Federal Trade Commission and more. Also at this free event are exhibitor booths offering free consumer information. Partners of this worthwhile program, demonstrate to the public their commitment to educating the community, particularly senior citizens.
